# Challenge

> Put what you have learned into practice. Complete one or more of the following tasks using Gemini.

    Open Gemini and try each of the three roles:

    1. **Researcher**: Ask Gemini to find information on a topic relevant to your work. Use the starter prompt from the Researcher card.
    2. **Writer**: Ask Gemini to draft a short email or document. Specify the tone and length.
    3. **Analyst**: Upload a document or paste some data, then ask Gemini to identify key insights.

    Notice how the role changes the style and focus of the response.

    Access Gemini from within a Google Workspace app:

    1. Open **Gmail** and click the Gemini icon. Ask it to summarise your unread emails or find a specific message.
    2. Open a **Google Doc** and use the side panel to generate a paragraph on a topic of your choice.
    3. Open **Google Sheets** and ask Gemini to create a simple tracker or table.

    Observe how Gemini works directly within the app without needing to switch contexts.

    Test the different ways to provide Gemini with context:

    1. **Upload a file**: Click the "+" icon and upload a PDF or document. Ask Gemini a question about its contents.
    2. **Add from Drive**: Connect a file from your Google Drive and reference it in your prompt.
    3. **Use voice** (mobile): Tap the microphone and speak your prompt instead of typing.

    Compare the results when Gemini has specific context versus a general question.
