Now that you understand how context works in Copilot, try this with a real piece of your own work.
1

Pick a current task

Choose something you are working on this week, for example a report, a set of meeting notes, or a collection of policy documents.
2

Decide: Notebook or Page?

If you have multiple source files to reference, create a Notebook. If you have a single output to draft and refine, start a chat and move the response to a Page.
3

Write your prompt using What-When-How

Structure your prompt: What do you need? When or for what purpose? How should Copilot format or approach it?
4

Iterate

Use follow-up prompts to refine the output. In a Notebook, ask more specific questions against your files. In a Page, ask Copilot to adjust tone, length, or structure.
Grab a real document from your current workload. The best way to learn these features is to use them with content you actually need to deliver.
